Best regards to all colleagues from KL, Malaysia. The local beer, although not perfect, brings sweet memories of the old days when we spent many long evenings at the IDA bar at the Dudujka (this is how the present campus used to be called).

I am writing this from Dammam, Saudi Arabia, from a conference where I chair a session. Doing this thru WiFi from my mobile is exciting but hard on your eyes. Best wishes to everyone at the department.

Currently I am writing from the lobby of the Fullerton hotel in Singapore planing the commissioning procedure for the world's first FDPSO (floating-drilling-production-storage-offloading). Next week I am going to Indonesia for a little rest in Nongsa resort.

Let me join you guys wishing the best for our petroleum department and its students. That was really good choice to go and graduate there because it gave me the chance to catch the best offers in the industry.

I believe that every student who goes there will find a desirable job with the expected conditions.

Best wishes to all institute members from the Southern Hemisphere. Looking out of the lobby of Shangri-La in Jakarta I see the lush vegetation. Knowing that the temperature is over 30C, I prefer sitting inside sipping my cold beer.
